@Nona Source launches “The Mindful Creatives Collective”, an ambassador program.

Created in 2021, Nona Source is the first online platform to provide direct access to deadstock fabrics from leading luxury brands for reuse by fashion and design professionals. The platform grew out of LVMH’s DARE intrapreneurial program and has ushered in real cultural transformation to circular fashion : creating from the existing materials instead of manufacturing on-demand fabrics.

For the first time, Nona Source has named four ambassadors to carry this commitment, all embody a perfect balance between innovation, art and craft.

Cecilie Bahnsen

A Danish fashion designer, Cecile was a finalist for the 2017 LVMH Prize. With Nona Source, she continues to breathe new life into materials that would otherwise be discarded.

Karoline Vitto

Based in London, the Brazilian-born designer emphasizes inclusivity and responsible use of resources for her eponymous brand, founded in 2020. She sees designing with deadstock materials as a way to bring together sustainability and inclusivity.

Nensi Dojaka

Winner of the 2021 LVMH Prize, the Albanian designer considers Nona Source to be a vast wellspring of creativity.
“With Nona Source fabrics I can imagine looks that convey my distinctive aesthetic, in which visible seams, and sheer and matte contrasts aligned by fine straps create a graphic play on the body.”

Victor Weinsanto

A rising fashion star, the young designer’s “Queer” style upends codes.
“The fact that these fabrics are deadstock allows me to give my collections a much more contemporary and environmentally conscious dimension.”

For Nona Source’s founders, the rollout of this new ambassador program marks the beginning of a new chapter. “I’m convinced that their innovation and commitment to a more sustainable fashion will help guide a new generation of designers, the “Mindful Creatives”, says Nona Source Co-Founder Romain Brabo.
