The designers revealed that the fashion bike is made of steel and is varnished using a particular technique called sublimation, which requires each piece to be hand finished. There are no gears, the wheel has 18 radii and the rear and head lights are pedal activated.

The bike is highly finished, with 24k gold gilding, protected by a all weather varnish, leather seat and black bell with Dolce&Gabbana logo plaque and a handy plastic coated aluminium basket on the front.
