Support for help measures: Auction of collection pieces from the designers at MBFW

By an auction, Mercedes‑Benz is offering exclusive access to designer pieces from the MBFW collections. Individual pieces and looks by the designers at MBFW are auctioned as part of a fundraising campaign. The silent auction allows interested parties to submit hidden bids directly via Instagram (“Direct Message” to @mbfw.berlin). The total figure raised, including the additional amount from Mercedes‑Benz, will be donated to the charity Caritas to provide humanitarian aid to refugees from Ukraine.

Mercedes‑Benz presents Sofia Ilmonen

As part of the “Mercedes‑Benz Fashion Talents” programme, Sofia Ilmonen presented her collection in the opening show. The winner of the new “Mercedes‑Benz Sustainability Prize” at the renowned Hyères Festival last October has already attracted attention for her sustainable and inclusive designs. To create her collections, Ilmonen works with fabric modules that can be reassembled and adapted to suit different body shapes. Her show combined elements of a classical catwalk presentation with an installation.
