MAGNUM, the ice cream brand owned by the British/Dutch Unilever company, was joined at the 2018 Cannes International Film Festival by designer Alexander Wang and supermodel Bella Hadid to launch their collaboration for Magnum’s “Take Pleasure Seriously” campaign. As part of the campaign, a short film starring Bella Hadid and Alexander Wang was created to celebrate the craft and quality that goes into creating the iconic range of ice creams. In addition, MAGNUM unveiled a MAGNUM X ALEXANDER WANG limited edition handmade cooler bag. The Magnum X Alexander Wang limited edition cooler bag is available on www.alexanderwang.com at a $895.

The leather-wrapped cooler bag is the result of a truly unique collaboration with Magnum and Alexander Wang. By injecting elegance and luxury in to an everyday object, the two brands have created a premium, yet subversive, accessory to house expertly crafted luxury ice cream – perfect for those who take pleasure seriously.

The House of Rémy Martin achieved an excellent performance in the first half, with organic growth of 15.4%, through increased sales in all regions, announced the company headquartered in the town of Cognac, in the department of Charente, France. In Asia Pacific, Greater China confirmed strong momentum, while Singapore is making robust headway, and Japan returned to positive growth. The Americas are benefiting from solid demand for high-end cognac, and the EMEA region is driven by a new phase of expansion in Africa, as well as sustained growth in Russia. Travel Retail started the year strong, notably thanks to clear improvement in high-end cognac trends.

Creativity within the House of Rémy Martin continued in the first half of the year. Following the launch of its limited edition XO Cannes 2017, available exclusively in Travel Retail, Rémy Martin launched the second edition of Carte Blanche à Baptiste Loiseau, an exclusive series of 9,650 bottles. Meanwhile, LOUIS XIII launched the limited edition The Legacy, 500 crystal magnum decanters signed by four generations of cellar masters.

Louis XIII cognac is produced by the House of Rémy Martin. The House was founded in 1724 by Rémy Martin, who descended from wine makers from Charente.

LOUIS XIII The Legacy proudly unites four LOUIS XIII Cellar Masters around a rare and precious decanter: personally and individually hand-signed, each fine crystal magnum stands as a monument to the savoir- faire they have passed on and shared.

This is the only time these four cellar masters will be brought together in a hand-signed testament to their craft. A very special limited edition to collect and treasure, LOUIS XIII The Legacy is a prized possession available to few in the world in just 500 decanters, no two of which are alike. Housed in an elegant coffret made of fine Italian calfskin leather and bearing a numbered plaque, each crystal magnum is personally and directly signed by each cellar master. Just as the cellar masters preserve the art and savoir-faire of their predecessors, so too this very special edition preserves their legacy.

“When I completed my very first final blend of LOUIS XIII, I measured the full responsibility in my hands.You find yourself alone with hundreds of eaux-de-vie, it’s a very powerful moment,” explained cellar master Pierrette Trichet.

“We feel great humility in our work, the respect that comes with passing the legacy on. My final decision as Cellar Master will be to select the cellar master to succeed me,” added cellar master Baptiste Loiseau.

Chocolate and ice cream make everything better. World-renowned Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott and
international film star and supermodel Cara Delevingne have teamed up with MAGNUM for their “Unleash Your Wild
Side” campaign to celebrate MAGNUM Double.

Once again, MAGNUM will be back at the Cannes International Film Festival this year to celebrate “Unleash Your
Wild Side”.

To launch the campaign, a short film directed by Scott and starring Cara Delevingne has been produced to give viewers a taste of what the “Unleash Your Wild Side and Dare to go Double” attitude is all about. Featured in the film are the “beasts,” a few of Moschino’s uniquely crafted illustrations designed and brought to life specifically for the campaign. The beasts will make another appearance during a big reveal at the Cannes International Film Festival on May 18.

The 45-second film stars Delevingne and features Scott and a number of new Moschino characters (the beasts) brought to life by legendary animator Uli Meyer, who is most notable for his work on “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” and “Space Jam.”

The film is inspired by the wild and bold “Dare to go Double” attitude and that ultimate moment of pure indulgence and pleasure that comes from biting into the thick cracking chocolate and velvety, smooth ice cream.

The film sees the beasts star-struck while slyly attempting to get their paws on Delevingne’s mouth-watering ice cream as she confidently struts through the city streets.

“What I love about this film is it’s all about indulging in life’s little pleasures,” said Delevingne. “Plus, how could making a film with Jeremy Scott about ice cream not be awesome? Delicious from beginning to end.”

“The collaboration with Magnum, from designing the beasts to directing the film has been beyond fun for me,” said Scott. “Working with Cara was amazing, and being bold with fashion is something I try to bring to life in my work every day. Fashion is that element of expression that gives you pleasure and allows for you to show off your personality and attitude. It’s fun to be able to give people that outlet! I’m so excited for you to see what we’ll be sharing in Cannes – watch out for the beasts!”
