Paris Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear Women’s Fashion Spring/Summer 2021 runs from 28 September to 6 October, in partnership with DS Automobiles. 84 fashion houses have signed up to the official calendar with physical and digital events. Guests will travel to the venues for 19 shows and 20 presentations in DS 7 Crossback eTense 4×4 300, a plug-in hybrid model that symbolises French automotive luxury. With 75 kilometres of zero emissions range (WLTP City standard), DS7 CrossBack eTense 4×4 300 opens the way to a new kind of mobility that’s more enjoyable, more efficient and safer.

DS Automobiles, the high-end automobile marque founded and developed as a spin off of the French marque Citroën, is adding a new element to “Un Autre Regard” with an editorial fashion photo shoot dedicated to Paris Fashion Week Women’s Spring/Summer 2021, following a first edition launched last July.

“Un Autre Regard” links the concept car collection designed by DS Automobiles to the world of fashion from emerging brands identified by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

This second edition of Un Autre Regard came to life around the remains of Château Royal de Montceaux-Lès-Meaux. Built at the start of the 15th Century, it had been bought by Henri II as a gift for his wife, Catherine de Médicis, the Queen of France. The castle was destroyed after the Revolution and today the area is classified as a Historic Monument.

Decidedly avant-garde in its time, the castle is today made up of ruins and remnants, in the middle of columns and a restored lodge. It’s in this setting that all the concept cars revealed since the creation of the brand,DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE,DS X E-TENSE,DS E-TENSE and DS DIVINE, posed with two models, Justine Nicolas and Olivia Valin, and the looks from three emerging international fashion brands: Boyarovskaya, Thebe Magugu et Mossi.

LV Volt – the new graphic collection of unisex jewelry from Louis Vuitton

The unisex jewelry collection draws on the luxury Maison’s most abstracted form of the L and the V to find its energy, establish its rhythm, and express its beat.

Louis Vuitton’s new Fine Jewelry Collection

Louis Vuitton’s renowned craftsmanship is on display in the LV Volt Collection through an expert play of precise, sharp lines and soft, smooth contours. Francesca Amfitheatrof, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of watches and jewellery, imagined rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings worn by both men and women.

Louis Vuitton presents LV Volt, a graphic new collection of unisex jewelry where the iconic LV initials are a metaphor for movement and a symbol of energy. The LV letters come together, split apart, link up, and intertwine in a myriad of textures, volumes, finishes, and dimensions, offering infinite combinations for seamless mixing and matching.

The new collection pulsates with the energy of the initials’ powerful shape, becoming a unit of measure of its own beat and tempo. Ideal for stacking, these pieces can also be combined with others from the range to create a unique, personal style.

Four talents convey the unisex jewelry collection’s bold metaphor for movement: Hugo Marchand, Paris Opera Ballet principal dancer, Alicia Vikander, Swedish Oscar-winning actress, Sharon Alexie, French artist, and XiaoXing Mao, Chinese model.

The Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander and Louis Vuitton ambassador brings her classical dance background to the new Fine Jewelry campaign.

Each piece from Louis Vuitton jewelry and watch creations is unique. Caratage and metal weight information is given for information only and may vary slightly from one piece to another.

The LVMH Prize sets up a Fund in aid of young fashion designers.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the final of the 7th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, originally scheduled on 5th June 2020 at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, has been cancelled.

This year, the allocation of the LVMH Prize will be awarded to the eight finalists of the 2020edition who were selected by the committee of Experts during the semi-final on 27th and 28th February 2020. The 300,000-euro award will be distributed equally among the finalists.

The health crisis poses an economic threat to young talent. That is why the LVMH Prize has set up a Fund in aid of young fashion designers that will notably be supplemented by the 2020 Karl Lagerfeld Prize allocation.

In virtue of the bond of solidarity within the LVMH Prize community, this Fund will benefit all the winning designers and their brands awarded with the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers and the Karl Lagerfeld Prize over the six previous editions, upon application. Details of the program will be provided at a later date, LVMH announced in a statement.

“Since its launch, the LVMH Prize has promoted and nurtured young talent,” commented Delphine Arnault. “Each year, it places the spotlight on young designers from all over the world and supports the development of their companies. In this challenging context, this Fund in aid of young fashion designers highlights the main mission of the LVMH Prize by supporting our former winners.”
