Disney Princesses reinterpretated by world leading designers

Harrods invited ten of the most covetable fashion brands to create a special interpretation of one of 10 Disney Princesses animating the store’s Christmas project. Christmas at Harrods came with an extravagant set of window displays showcasing 10 stunning dresses created by world leading designers – each based on their glamorous interpretations of the original Disney Princess dresses.

Cinderella is the Disney princess selected by Versace. Disney’s princess is ready for her ball in a stunning contemporary interpretation. Oscar de la Renta choose Snow White, Elie Saab – The Sleeping Beauty, while Roberto Cavalli opted for Pochahontas. Mulan is Missoni‘s character and Jasmine is the favorite Disney character for Escada. Watch them all in the photo gallery.

Harrods and Disney celebrates this Christmas collaboration with a pop-up boutique. The exclusive 7,000 square- foot boutique will be open on the Fourth Floor at Harrods from 15th October 2012 to January 2012. Housing an array of Disney products, it will also include bespoke limited-edition items, collectables and show-stopping dress-up pieces. Visitors will have the opportunity to have a 15 minute photographic experience against an enchanting Disney backdrop and take home mounted photographs. There will also be a Cinderella Slipper Salon offering replica glitter-embellished glass limited-edition slippers. With a special interactive area for all the family, customers will be invited to enjoy Disney-themed activities such as storytelling sessions.
