At 46 mm in diameter, the design is that of a true chronograph, with a case, back and lugs made from grade 2 titanium, a textured rubber strap and a sapphire crystal touchscreen. The entire timepiece is water resistant for everyday use (rated IP67), says the luxury watchmaker.

The digital hands remain visible in energy-saving mode to show the time. Applications are displayed in the three counters on the dial, seamlessly integrated in the watch’s aesthetic environment. They can be opened in full screen mode simply by touching the counter.

Connectivity features include exclusively available customized apps with free subscriptions: Insiders (lifestyle), GolfShot Pro (golf), RaceChrono Pro (motor racing) and Viewrangers (trailing). These applications are joined by classic watch functions (timer, alarm and stopwatch), as well as Google apps like Google Fit, Google Translate, Google Maps and the voice-activated “OK Google” search function.

According to TAG Heuer, the new smartwatch can be easily synced with phones running Android 4.3+ and iOS 8.2+, and is charged using a contact charger. The lithium battery has an all day battery life.
