The events of this year have inspired many designers to think in new and creative ways – and American fashion designer Vera Wang is no exception. Blurring the lines between bridal and ready-to-wear, the CFDA member decided to consolidate the two into a joint release that includes Spring 2021 RTW and Fall 2021 Bridal collections.
“I have long desired to create a collection that infused signature elements of both our bridal and RTW designs into one coherent fashion statement. This season seemed like the perfect moment to explore that objective,” Wang said.
The result is a stunning lineup that was at once elevated yet approachable. Classic shades of ivory and nude are met with bright florals and vibrant shades of red. Gowns with voluminous trains sit comfortably next to tailored blazers, presenting options that are both feminine and edgy.
The nude strapless empire waist ballgown is paired with a hand-draped Italian tulle veiled bodice and a skirt accented by red silk chiffon elongated ties.
