Space investments: Demand for cosmos-related investing is rising and many are seeking opportunities in the sector

Increasing demand for private funding, and growing public-sector interest is calling investors to look toward the stars as new space-focused ventures, technologies, and public companies are escalating.

Investing in the Cosmos Going Mainstream.

As the global space economy emerges – private investment in space companies in 2020 set a new annual record with $8.9 billion, according to New York-based firm Space Capital. And Morgan Stanley estimates that the industry could generate revenue of more than $1 trillion in 2040, up from $350 billion, currently.

Astronauts Chris Hadfield and Scott Kelly will headline a panel on space exploration at Context Summits’ flagship
Miami 2022 event, to be held January 24 through January 26 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa.

“Demand for space-related investing is rising and many are seeking opportunities in the sector. These space pioneers will provide an exclusive, first-time discussion sharing their personal space experiences,” said Eric Noll, Context CEO.

“While space exploration previously was the sole domain of government agencies, today commercial companies and investors are paramount. It is still in the early days, but something family offices and hedge funds should keep on their radar,” Noll concluded.

In a recent Context 365 weekly livestream, Michael Mealling, general partner of Starbridge Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on commercial space technology, and CNBC anchor Guy Adami, provided an introduction to space investments, why now is the time to invest, what has changed and what to avoid.

Mealling noted that space has become “investible” following Congress passing laws in 2004 allowing commercial,
private company activity in space. That opened the door for non-government participation. Contributing to the
growth, in recent years, there have been dramatic reductions in both the costs of launching and, through
miniaturization, building spacecraft. Today the private sector has satellites offering numerous applications, most notably earth observation and communications.

Chris Hadfield is a retired Canadian Space Agency astronaut, engineer, science communicator, singer, and former
fighter pilot. He was the first Canadian to walk in space. He has flown two Space Shuttle missions and served as
commander of the International Space Station.

Scott Kelly is a former military fighter pilot and test pilot, an engineer, a retired astronaut, and a retired U.S. Navy captain. A veteran of four space flights, Kelly commanded the International Space Station (ISS) on three expeditions and was a member of the yearlong mission to the ISS. In October 2015, he set the record for the total accumulated number of days spent in space, the single longest space mission by an American astronaut.

Context Summits Miami 2022

Context Summits Miami 2022 will be held Monday, January 24 through Wednesday, January 26 at the JW Marriott
Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. The in-person event will bring together qualified investors and hedge funds for
several days of productive, prescheduled one-on-one meetings.

Voyager Station hotel to offer luxury vacations that are literally, out of the world. The space restaurant will rival the best venues on Earth

@Voyager Station by @Orbital Assembly Corporation

This space hub built by Orbital Assembly Corporation is combining the experience of the last 50 years of space flight and the technology of today, with the dreams of tomorrow. The Voyager Station is now open for reservations.

The first space hotel to be operational in 2026. The Voyager Station is now open for reservations.

Voyager Station is a rotating space station designed to produce varying levels of artificial gravity by increasing or decreasing the rate of rotation. Artificial, or simulated, gravity is essential to long term habitation in space.

The space station has been designed from the start to accommodate business, manufacturing, national space agencies conducting low gravity research, and space tourists who want to experience life on a large space station with the comfort of low gravity and the feel of a luxury hotel.

Early on Voyager Station was named after the father of the Apollo Program that took humanity to the moon. In early 2020 the space station was renamed to Voyager to embody the spirit of what this station will mean to all those who travel there.

Historically, a trip to space cost up to $25 million and that resulted in staying in a Zero-G facility, using vacuums for toilets, sleeping in a bag strapped to a wall, and living in a laboratory.

Voyager Station will leverage the technologies of Space and the comforts of Earth to create a unique experience unparalleled in history. Simulated gravity will offer amenities like toilet facilities, showers, and beds that function similar to what you are used to on Earth. If you are traveling alone or with a partner, the high-end space hotel suites are a great place to book for a three day trip or rent for a month. At 30 m2 (320 sf) , these suites offer private bathrooms, sleeping accommodations for up to 2 people.

Voyager Station’s Luxury Villas in Space

Voyager Station’s luxury accomodations can be booked for a week, rented for a month, or purchased as a vacation home. The luxury villas are 500 m2 (5,300 sf). They feature cooking facilities, three bathrooms, and sleeping accommodations for up to 16 people.

The station includes a Gym and Activity Module – a place to go anytime of day or night.

The large recreation hall has a ceiling over 7 m (23 ft) high where you will enjoy jumping, running, and playing sports in the 1/6th Earth gravity environment. The lower level gym is equipped with weights and treadmills so that you can work out while watching the Earth and stars rotate below you.

At night the GA will transform into a concert venue where the biggest musicians on Earth will rock the station as it circles the plane.

The space restaurant will offer some Space classics like Tang and freeze dried ice cream, but Voyager’s restaurant will rival the best venues on Earth. Bi-weekly food deliveries ensure that every bite is fresh and delicious.

The Sky Bar offer the best views in the orbital station.

An other worldly water feature will seemingly defy the laws of physics as a curving flow of water falls from the ceiling to the restaurant below. Don’t feel like taking the stairs? Because of the lower gravity, jump off the balcony and gently land on the level below.

Space tourism: Spaceship Neptune luxury capsule will carry you on a journey to the edge of space

Spaceship Neptune luxury capsule suborbital flight; @thespaceperspective.com

Space Perspective’s magnificent, safe suborbital flight via space balloon will smoothly fly you to the edge of space.

Space Perspective, founded in 2019, was created to provide more people, not just astronauts, the opportunity to see Earth as a planet from
space. Space Perspective’s balloon will safely and smoothly fly space travelers to the edge of space inside the revolutionary, near-zero
emissions Spaceship Neptune. The pressurized capsule affords a relaxed environment with plush reclining seats and a refreshments bar.
Spaceship Neptune will ascend for two hours while the sky is still dark and stars are visible. As Spaceship Neptune glides along the edge of
space, the passengers will watch the sun slowly rise over the curved limb of Earth—a view that has transfixed astronauts since the dawn of the space age. Neptune will then gently descend and two hours later splash down off the coast of Florida.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is offered via the partnership between Exclusive Resorts, the premier Members-only vacation club, and Space Perspective.

Planned to launch at the end of 2024, the luxury capsule will carry eight Exclusive Resorts Members and a pilot on a journey to the edge of space. Club Members will enjoy a leisurely six-hour journey, which begins before sunrise from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida and soars above 99% of Earth’s atmosphere to an altitude of over 100,000 feet—three times higher than commercial airlines fly. The Club’s privately chartered flights aboard Spaceship Neptune are planned to be the pinnacle of The Club’s 2024 Once-in-a-Lifetime Journeys, a collection of itinerary-based bucket list trips in exotic locales, designed and vetted by Exclusive Resorts specifically for its Members. Exclusive Resorts, alongside Space Perspective, will be creating a custom flight experience for its Members to celebrate this momentous adventure.

Once the FAA has licensed the vehicle for flight, Space Perspective will give Exclusive Resorts Members priority access, becoming the first privately chartered travel group to fly in Spaceship Neptune. “We agreed to partner with Exclusive Resorts because of the group’s  pioneering spirit, and we couldn’t be happier that they are now forging a pathway with us to a new travel destination: Space,” says Jane Poynter, Founder and Co-CEO of Space Perspective. “We are thrilled to be giving Exclusive Resorts Members an opportunity to be among the first to view the world in a way very few have done before. I can’t wait to hear Members’ stories about this unique and life-changing experience of seeing our Earth in space.”

Exclusive Resorts continuously provides once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for its Members to traverse all seven continents of the globe by way of its Residence and Experience Collections. Now, they are extending their reach beyond land and heading to the edge of space—the final frontier. The Club hopes to send at least five groups, or 40 Club Members, to space starting in late 2024.

It is anticipated that flights aboard Spaceship Neptune will be available for Exclusive Resorts Members to reserve on a first come, first served  basis beginning in October 2023.
