Looking through archives is always a good idea for any artist, designer or artisan. For Bruno Frisoni, Roger Vivier’s archives served as a fountain of inspiration for 2015 Caprices – a capsule collection consisting of designs based on archival pieces.
Vibrant, multi-hued feathers are banded together to create a shoe, straws of raffia embrace marine animals to create a bag, and animated bees gracefully adorn silk to create the new Caprices clutch.
Under the direction of famed photographer Michael Avedon, Julia Restoin Roitfeld presented the selection of accessories imbued with the signature irony and sensuality of the French Maison.
