Cornelia Spa re-opened in New York’s Surrey

Cornelia Spa Returns To New York at The Surrey

Cornelia Spa, the brand credited with launching the luxury day spa experience, makes its anticipated return to New York at The Surrey, the city’s only Relais & Chateaux hotel. The spa will delight its guests with botanical tastings, an amuse bouche presented following and created to complement each treatment.

Signature treatments include The Reparative Caviar and Oxygen Quench, a two-part facial inspired by nourishment and oxygen which leaves skin visibly firmer, hydrated and radiant followed by a caviar amuse bouche and prosecco finale and The Purist: A Dual Detoxification Treatment. This two-hour detoxification ritual is designed to maximize physical and mental clarification and begins with a body exfoliation using Cornelia’s Honey Citrus Polish, followed by a concentrated seaweed wrap and detoxifying bath, and finishing with a lemon-mint firming creme and a shot of Cornelia’s delicious Super Food Elixir.

The Spa’s design is an extension of Lauren Rottet’s white and beige monochromatic palette for The Surrey. Art Deco light fixtures and ornate hand-painted armoires offset contemporary artwork, such as a plaster and mirror collage.

Beyond the exquisite treatment rooms equipped with fine linens and angora lambswool blankets, guests will find solace in the Relaxation Library, an intimate space of comfort and indulgence featuring a collection of hand-picked books, or The Surrey’s seasonal 17th floor Private Roof Garden, serving delicious cocktails and light fare from Cafe Boulud.
