The Luxury Collection: Chic travel guide to Greece

Assouline and Starwood launched a Greek Travel Guide

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts celebrates Greece with the launch of new destination guide book published by Assouline. The book is a passport to the brand’s impressive portfolio in Greece – seven iconic hotels and resorts that span the country—making it The Luxury Collection brand’s third largest market behind only the United States and India.

Starwood currently operates 10 hotels in Greece and continues to strengthen its long-established position as one of the leading luxury hotel operators in the region. In recent years, the company has added new hotels under The Luxury Collection brand, including The Romanos, a resort of The Luxury Collection in Costa Navarino, Greece in 2010.

Greece remains one of the world’s most mesmerizing destinations, and we are thrilled to share this guide with our guests who we know have an insatiable appetite to travel, explore and discover,” said Paul James, Global Brand Leader, St. Regis and The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts. “That Greece is our third largest market globally is a clear indication that the country’s rich culture, distinctive heritage and indigenous treasures make it a ‘must’ for the most discerning travelers.”

The Greece Destination Guide is a visually stunning journey through the country’s most coveted destinations highlighting the recently-opened Romanos in Costa Navarino; the breathtaking Mystique and Vedema Resort in Santorini; Elounda’s stylish Blue Palace Resort; and beautifully situated Santa Marina, Mykonos. Curated by noteworthy contributors, Chef Elias Mamalakis and Zoe Cassavetes, the guide features shopping and dining recommendations, cultural happenings and musings about hidden local favorites.

“There is something very romantic about being in the present while being able to feel and see a time long past,” said guest contributor Zoe Cassavetes. “Greece is completely unique in that way.”
