Allegra is the new personalized fragrance experience from Bvlgari. The candy-like bottles will bring colorful and superlative Italian emotions from the energizing energy of the Italian Riviera to the joyous celebrations of Venice.

French perfumer Jacques Cavallier created an Italian sensorial experience with its new Bvlgari Allegra fragrance collection. With five eaux de parfums and five magnifying essences, Bvlgari Allegra offers myriad combinations to create a uniquely personal scent. From the composition to the bottles inspired by colored gems, this fragrance collection is both joyful and precious.

The idea is each of the fragrances can be combined with an essence to create a truly personal scent. The five Magnifying essences have white bottles, symbolizing the purity of the ingredients: musk, bergamot, rose, patchouli and vanilla. These natural gems echo Bvlgari’s celebrated jewelry expertise.

“All roads lead to Rome, all magnificent ingredients lead to Rome, and all fragrances lead to Rome,” says Jacques Cavallier about his creations for Bvlgari. Inspired by the history and lifestyle of Italy, Bulgari master perfumer put his passion and art into crafting the five Bvlgari Allegra eaux de parfums and five Magnifying essences.

Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud is a French perfumer formerly with the Swiss fragrance and flavor company Firmenich, who currently works for Louis Vuitton of the LVMH Luxury Group. He has created or collaborated in the creation of over 80 fragrances and perfumes for fashion house brands such as Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Issey Miyake, Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme.

The multiple perfumes combinations are the fruit of superb creativity.

For the fragrances, the citrus notes of Riva Solare evoke an endless Italian Riviera holiday, while the roses of Fiori d’Amore are like kisses in the eternal city. The gourmand amaretti and orange blossom in Dolce Estasi are inspired by the attachment to family and childhood memories. The cocktail of fruity notes in Rock’n’Rome echoes a spritz aperitivo shared at sunset. And the chypre accord of Fantasia Veneta with patchouli, peach and vanilla is an invitation to extravagant Venice masked balls.

Bvlgari chose artist and model Solange Smith to embody the different facets of the new fragrance collection. From a dip in the Mediterranean in Capri to a café terrace in Rome, Solange embraces the eaux de parfums and essences in a whirlwind of joy, love and exuberance, a perfect ode to Italian dolce vita.

The glass bottles are inspired by Roman columns and the colors of precious gems, like the ruby red and purple amethyst of Fantasia Veneta.

The Bvlgari Allegra collection is made entirely in Europe and protected by packaging that uses recycled materials. The glass bottles are designed to facilitate recycling.

Bulgari also launched the BVLGARI Allegra Discovery Set for $173.00. Bvlgari secured an extraordinary location for the new Bvlgari Hotel in Rome

Bvlgari Hotel Roma to feature unique features. Bvlgari’s new hotel in Rome is scheduled to open in 2022.

Standing out on the building’s façade, on top of a splendid fountain, a Latin inscription says: “This is the place where the Emperor Augustus’ soul flies through the air.”

The new 2022 Bulgari Hotel Roma is blending different references to the unique Roman heritage with the contemporary and timeless Bvlgari style. The new Roman hotel will be strategically located in the central Piazza Augusto Imperatore. This is in the very heart of the Campo Marzio neighborhood, a stone’s throw from Via del Corso and Via del Babuino, the iconic Spanish Steps and the signature Bvlgari flagship on Via Condotti.

The new Bvlgari Hotel Roma will occupy a magnificent building, owned by Edizione Properties, who was assisted by CBRE Hotels for the tenant selection activity.

The building was built between 1936 and 1938 to a design by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo. The rationalist building, which faces two of the most iconic Roman landmarks, the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus, the first Roman Imperator, which is currently under renovation, reveals a monumental, modern architecture emphasized by the use of traditional Roman materials and colors, such as ochre Travertine marble and burnt red brick.

The architectural appeal of the building is counterbalanced by Antonio Barrera’s frescos, running in the via della Frezza atrium and offering different views of the Mausoleum of Augustus, while the Southern face is decorated with a 70-square-meter mosaic by Ferruccio Ferrazzi, who offered his personal interpretation of the Roman foundation myth.

 

As for the other Bvlgari Hotels in the world, Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will be in charge of both the architectural project and the interior design of the new Bvlgari Hotel Roma, which will count over 100 rooms, most of them suites, as well as the prestigious “Il Ristorante” curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito and “The Bvlgari Bar,” both located on the top floor to guarantee an unparalleled view of the Eternal City. The luxury hotel will also include a range of additional facilities, including a high-end spa with an indoor swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art gym, offering Bvlgari’s exclusive Workshop training method.

“We are particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bvlgari Hotel in Rome,” says Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. “ This Hotel, to be opened in 2022, represents a remarkable achievement for Bvlgari that will finally have its own ‘temple’ right in the city where the Company was founded and that still represents nowadays the beating heart of the brand. It will be by far Roma most luxurious hospitality experience ever”.

As unique feature, the Bvlgari Hotel Roma will also present a Reading Room containing a collection of precious volumes dedicated to the history of jewellery. Such a library will be open to the guests and to the public by appointment only.

This unique link between the new Bvlgari Hotel Roma and Emperor Augustus’ vision will be highlighted with an Interior design balancing the rigor of the stones used in Imperial Rome, concise yet powerful details, as well as rich textures contrasting with the architectural essentiality of the building.
