In-flight wifi.
No more boring flights. Connect to the internet, send emails and SMS text messages during long-haul flights is now possible thanks to an experimental project that will be launched by Air France-KLM and Panasonic Avionics.
On-board connectivity service will be tested in 2013 on two Boeing aircraft, one flying the Air France colors, the other those of KLM.
Air France KLM will be invited to test the in-flight wifi on their smartphone, laptop or tablet for a fee and will then be asked to provide their opinion on the features.
