Nissan’s old-school Batmobile to race at LeMans

Nissan radical car that will race at LeMans

Nissan will compete at this year’s 24 Hours of LeMans with a radical car originally proposed to IndyCar and reminiscent of an
old-school Batmobile. Deltawing race vehicle will be competing in the experimental category.

The Deltawing body weighs just 1,300 pounds, about half the weight of other cars at LeMans. The Batmobile concept is not very powerful, cranking just 300 BHP, or about 200 BHP less than other cars in LeMans competition. The car is certainly going to be a head-turner at LeMans.
