Riva 110’ Dolcevita’s visual impact takes the breath away as does the incomparable combination of aesthetics and function, state-of-the-art technology and sea-faring experience. Riva 110’ Dolcevita will make its official début during an exclusive event to take place in Montecarlo in May.
Reminiscent of the unforgettable Swedish actress Anita Ekberg bathing in the waters of Trevi Fountain, Riva 110’ Dolcevita, with its flybridge of unparalleled beauty, was launched in La Spezia, at the shipyard that manufactures its 76 and 110 foot models.
The completely renewed hull design measures almost 110 feet in overall length, with a beam larger than 11 feet. The exterior design further builds on the flowing lines of the 100′ Corsaro. Characterized by a super sporty profile.
This new Riva model is once again the result of a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the design studio founded by Mauro Micheli with Sergio Beretta, the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Ing. Piero Ferrari and the Engineering Department of the Ferretti Group.
“For the largest Riva ship we have chosen the name of a time that is still endowed with sparkle and charm. The Dolce Vita as a truly Italian style indication, the happy combination where good construction and the good life come together,” said Avv. Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO.
Marked by an ultra-sporting profile and a design embellished by shaped glass windows and chrome inserts, it’s the flagship of the fibreglass fleet. Among the most striking features, there’s the large glass windows on the trim line with integrated portholes and, on deck, the single height glass window that runs the entire length of the living room with the glass framed by a stainless steel structure.
“Cruising on this amazing 33 metre yacht is an aesthetic and emotional experience akin to the amazement felt by anyone watching the passing of the Rex, the famous cruise ship featured in the film Amarcord, another of Federico Fellini’s masterpieces -according to the Ferretti Group Chief Executive Officer, Avv. Alberto Galassi. This new seaworthy work of art is not just a gift to our brand’s fans, but to all dreamers who can thus rediscover the
splendour and thrills of a new Dolce Vita,” added Alberto Galassi.
The aft is equipped with the innovative Submersible Hatch, the exclusive movement system that Ferretti Group has patented, which has already convinced experts and triumphed during the Boat Builder Awards 2016 in Amsterdam.
