Phaidon luxury publishing house launched a luxury, limited edition of ‘Steven Klein’ – the first ever monograph by the American photographer and videographer based in New York City. This stunning volume is limited to an edition of 50, each signed and numbered.
Modeled after an antique Bible in @stevenkleinstudio’s personal collection, this stunning luxury, limited edition is limited to 50, including:
▪️Shaped wooden case boards, wrapped in a stamped faux leather
▪️Rounded spine with raised bands
▪️Book-block edges foiled in gold
▪️Fitted brass edges on front and back case
▪️Engraved brass plate mounted to front case
▪️Brass clasp to close and secure the book
▪️Deliver in the mailer carton to protect the luxury volume
Each of fifty copies is signed and numbered by the artist on a bespoke book plate. The volume is priced at €1375.00.
Steven Klein has worked with numerous pop culture figures. Steven Klein trained in fine art with a concentration on painting. After studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, he moved into the field of photography.Steven Klein began his photographic career in the 1990s in Paris. Klein shot high-profile advertising campaigns for various clients including Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Nike and is a regular contributor to magazines including American and Paris Vogue, where he photographed Björk.

Klein is well known for his Interview, and W magazine editorials with various celebrities, including Madonna, Tom Ford, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Rihanna. He often works with cinematographer David Devlin. He shot the promotional pictures -including the album cover- of Britney Spears’ third studio album, Britney. He also worked with Lady Gaga on numerous occasions including a music video for “Alejandro”, the album cover for Gaga and Tony Bennett’s album Cheek to Cheek, as well as two fragrance campaigns.
