Karl Lagerfeld’s fresco-style installation for Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo

Karl Lagerfeld to make over Monaco’s Hotel Métropole
Fresco-style installation

Karl Lagerfeld, the tireless and prolific Chanel’s creative director, is redesigning Monaco’s Hotel Métropole.

From June 2012, the hotel guests will indulge in a new environment, including the pool, terrace and gardens, along with a new, third Joel Robuchon restaurant. The hotel’s new look will tell the wanderings of Ulysses through an installation made up of 15 glass panels.

To make an opinion about the make over, Lagerfeld has prepared some frescoes that abound with Karl’s favorite muses, including model Baptiste Giabiconi.
