Alila Hotels to launch a luxury wooden Phinisi boat

A luxury sailboat for a luxury resort in Bali seems a natural choice for Alila Hotels & Resorts chain, a boutique resort brand with properties in Bali and India and plans to open its first three villas in China over the next three years.

Alila plans to entertain its precious guests with a 100% traditional Phinisi Indonesian two-mast sailing boat, which will take the tourists around the Indonesian islands.

The luxury wooden sail boat named Alila Purnama (‘The Full Moon’ in Indonesian) is 46 meters long, consists of three decks, and needs a crew of 16. The Alila Purnama will have four . There is also a master suite, featuring large wraparound windows with panoramic views of the sea.

Besides air-conditioned cabins with free WiFi, queen-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms, and custom-made furniture from locally sourced materials from Indonesia, Alila Purnama will also feature a library, lounge, bar, an indoor dining area, and oversized daybeds.

The 10 guests of Alila Purnama will have to pay $62,000, a 10-day vacation package which includes a three-night stay at the Alila’s luxury villas in Uluwatu and Soori.
