The Sound of Hermès Silver

What if silver had a sound?

Chains, bracelets, rings are ‘played’ by laser, to create the sound of Hermès Silver. Pierre Hardy‘s designs find musical expression in a intriguing performance initiated in collaboration with British design practice United Visual Artist (UVA).

Hermès put the jewelry pieces of the Chaîne d’ancre collection and its variations (Initiale, Parade, Osmose and Etcaetera) on metallic turntables, each propelled by an intricately designed cogs mechanism. “The Sound of Hermès Silver” is in fact an experimental symphony produced by the sound triggered the laser-scanned jewellery.
