Pedrali At Scandinavia’s Largest Design Fair

For the 12th year, Italian design house Pedrali took part in the 2023 edition of Stockholm Furniture Fair (February 7-11, 2023, at Stockholmsmässan), the leading Scandinavian event for the interior design and lighting. From 7 to 11 February, the Italian company presented its latest collections.

@Pedrali; The Italian company is producing furniture for contract and residential.

The Pedrali design space was set up as a main volume, defined by longitudinal sections and slender, stylised archetypal columns with a graphical design marked by a terracotta-coloured band that features discontinuously on the walls. This element is then taken up on the inner walls and flooring, in continuity with the outside.

The booth brought to life three different scenes where the products are placed on a raised platform. The workspace is defined today by new cross and hybrid areas. Pedrali recreates two welcoming environments, characterised by higher quality and aesthetic care; spaces that can be quickly and easily reconfigured, with modular partitions between individual workstations and collaborative areas.

The Polar armchair takes centre stage in an office with multiple workstations. Designed by Jorge Pensi Design Studio, Polar is a task chair that ensures maximum customisation in terms of ergonomics with its simple and intuitive built-in mechanisms. The backrest consists of an injected-moulded nylon frame with a breathable, flexible polyester mesh for a sense of transparency. The injection-moulded polypropylene support at the lumbar area may be adjusted to the user’s needs. This element may be covered in the same fabric as the seat, for utmost customisation.

The seat, in polyurethane foam moves via a special mechanism that allows its depth to be adjusted. The chair guarantees excellent comfort thanks to its weight-activated, synchro-tilt mechanism that can regulate the degree of tilting autonomously according to the user’s body weight.

Polar is available as a chair or armchair. The latter features minimalist armrests that can be adjusted in height, depth and width and can be orientated to suit the user’s needs.

Always by Jorge Pensi Design Studio is Temps low back, the latest version of Temps executive chair, is now characterised by a lower backrest. It is designed to seamlessly fit both in office meeting rooms and residential settings. Pure and elegant, Temps low back has a striking feature in its height-adjustable base made in diecast aluminium. The chair guarantees excellent ergonomics and comfort thanks to its weight-activated, synchro-tilt mechanism that is able to regulate the degree of tilting autonomously according to the user’s body weight. The seat and backrest are comfortable and warm with their polyurethane injected foam padding, cosily embracing the person sitting on the chair.

The concept of a smart, dynamic workspace is brought to life by the Arki-Table Adjustable Desk, which allows you to work both standing and sitting, thus ensuring optimal comfort and ergonomics. The cable access, placed between the top and the panel, allows to anchor the sound absorbing panel upholstered in fabric which divides one desk from another. The panel can be easily removed and cleaned.

Ypsilon Connect designed by Jorge Pensi Design Studio is a functional free standing, sound absorbing space divider. Featuring clean lines and easily placeable in a variety of settings, Ypsilon Connect is characterised by acoustic panels that are shaped around a structure formed by two die-cast aluminium bases and extruded aluminium columns.

One of the greatest strengths lies in its extensive customisation possibilities, thanks to which users can create ever new layouts and consequently manage their spaces more effectively, to create welcoming office spaces or functional training and meeting rooms, even remotely.

The setting is complemented by Hevea, designed by Victoria Azadinho Bocconi, the complement conceived to bring nature indoors. Hevea is a pot-holder consisting of a central steel stem to which polypropylene pots are hanged, obtaining different configurations based on their number and position. This versatile object makes it possible to arrange plants vertically, without occupying areas destined for other uses.
