Italian luxury furniture powerhouse Moroso and high-end lighting brand Ingo Maurer announced the second design collaboration.
After the first step in the collaboration, which saw the two high-end brands sharing a stand at the BAU trade fair in Munich in January, Moroso is presenting Ingo Maurer lamps inside its showroom in Via Pontaccio 8-10, Milan.
Ingo Maurer creations illuminate the Shanghai Tip and Redondo furniture collections by Patricia Urquiola, Shadowy chairs by Tord Boontje and many other pieces from the Moroso collection, in an installation dedicated to this new design partnership, which can be visited at the Moroso showroom until 30 March.
“I have always loved Ingo’s work, I believe his poetry, vision, irony and way of using colour are in perfect harmony to our sensitivity. We have always had in common the passion for projects and unconventional way of interpreting design objects. In addition to this, I myself have an infinite respect for him as a person,” said Patrizia Moroso.
The next step is taking place at the 2019 Salone del Mobile, on the Moroso stand designed by Patricia Urquiola, and at Fuorisalone, in the showroom in Via Pontaccio, which features an installation curated by Marco Viola to mark the 10th anniversary of the M’Afrique collection.
The partnership between the two luxury design brands will see the display and sale of their respective products in the Moroso showroom in Milan and Maurer showroom at 47 Kaiserstrasse, Munich.
The two companies will be jointly presenting their products to the Italian design aficionados, proposing interiors’ solutions featuring Moroso furniture and Ingo Maurer lamps, along with custom-made solutions.
