The Best Asian Hotel of the year – the Golden List
The Luxury Hotel Peninsula Tokyo has received the Conde Nast Traveler’s 2010 Readers’ Choice Award for ‘Best Asian Hotel’. The result was assessed from 25,916 responses to the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Survey.
Opposite the Imperial Palace, The Peninsula Tokyo has 314 rooms and suites decorated in understated creams and browns, and marble bathrooms with in-built flat-screen TVs. The Peninsula Spa by ESPA offers a full range of treatments, from massages to facials, in eight rooms.
The one-Michelin-starred Hei Fung Terrace serves excellent Cantonese cuisine under chef Frankie Tang. Other restaurants include Tsuruya, for Japanese cuisine, and Peter, run by chef Patrice Martineau who previously worked at Daniel in New York.
