Lazareth LMV 496 – very first motorcycle that can be transformed into a quadrocopter

Lazareth’s futuristic motorbike transforms into a flying hoverbike. It’s a real flying motorcycle prototype. Designer Ludovic Lazareth and the team of French custom auto/moto maker hover-tested the motorcycle on tethers to a height of one metre.

Called Lazareth LMV 496, the flying motorcycle/ La moto volante is equipped with a 5.2-litre V8 Maserati engine and will certainly appear in movies and ads in the near future. In 60 seconds, the 140kg motorcycle gets airborne thanks to the combined vertical thrust provided by the 96,000-rpm Jetcat jet turbines (equal to ~240kg).

The LMV496 embodies the Lazareth design par excellence, futuristic features and pendulum geometry, combined with outstanding performance and character.

The ~£496,000 bike-quadcopter is made of Kevlar-carbon composite. On the road, the LMV496 is an electric motorcycle with a hundred kilometres of autonomy. The transition from the road mode to the flight mode is done by operating a simple switch on the dashboard. The total power delivered is around 1300 horses for 2800N of thrust.

The concept was inspired by the first Lazareth LM847motorcycle prototype. Instead of the Italian engine, a composite body conceals the kerosene tank which gives the flying bike an autonomy of about ten minutes in the flight mode.

Lazareth LM496 is limited to 5 units. The motorcycles available for order are #002 , #003 , #004, and #005 . All Lazareth customized vehicles are approved in accordance with French regulations.

Bandit9 Arthur Royal Enfield Continental GT elevates the cafe racer to regality

“We wanted to give like-minded people courage to create what may be deemed as absurd. Because they’re the ones who will change the course of humanity for the better. They’ll call us crazy today. Tomorrow – pioneer” – Bandit9 Motors.

Since 2011, Bandit9 has been dedicated to bring about a 2nd Jet Age through these highly stylized, radically designed motorcycles coveted by collectors and museums alike.

Arthur by Bandit9 Motors x Royal Enfield, the Indian motorcycle manufacturing brand with the tag of “the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production”, is a bespoke motorcycle fitted with quality steel parts made entirely by hand, bearing a 535cc engine made by Royal Enfield, and is nothing less than a work of mechanical art. Arthur is made-to-order and only 9 pieces will ever be produced USD 19,800 including door-to-door shipping. The 192kg Arthur has a fuel capacity of 13.5 litres and a top speed of 150 kmh.

With roots in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, creating a motorcycle worthy of its lineage was daunting. “Our mission to elevate the cafe racer to regality took an entire year to complete as we forged iron and steel into swooping arches and serpentine curves. Each detail flowing to the next. With no beginning and no end,” said Bandit9 Motors.

The motorcycles features custom parametric frame, custom steel tank, custom rear cowl, headlight-white light, inverted front forks with external suspension, custom steel triple clamp. The crossbow handlebar, the exhaust, air filter, speedometer, drum brake, and the swingarm are also cutom-made.
