Nobiskrug announced the signature of a new build contract with high-end global superyacht brokerage, Burgess, along with Harrison Eidsgaard Design, to design and build a six deck 83-metre superyacht for delivery to her owner.

“Our collaboration with Burgess and Harrison Eidsgaard is based on strong shipbuilding expertise on all sides. Nobiskrug prides itself on building yachts for the future, ships that will stand the test of time. We are delighted to be working on PROJECT ORKAN with these respected partners.” – Philipp Maracke, CEO of Nobiskrug.

The extraordinary exterior styling as well as the stylish interior comes from the strong trio Harrison Eidsgaard studio, based in London. Peder Eidsgaard from Harrison Eidsgaard says, “The pure white surfaces appear to have been sculpted over a subframe, which creates a distinctive appearance with very simple graphics.”

The 83-metre-yacht project will be truly bespoken and tailored to the Owner’s very high expectations of relaxed waterside living and features as a helicopter landing pad, generous exterior living spaces including a huge beach club transition effortlessly into the interior all of which underpins Nobiskrug’s tradition to deliver extraordinary superyachts.

On the technical side project “ORKAN” features a hybrid propulsion system including batteries in order to significantly reduce fuel consumption as well as electronic anchoring to protect sensitive areas.

All Naval architecture will be done by Nobiskrug’s highly skilled workforce to ensure the highest quality standards as well as comfort levels in noise and vibration. In-house state of the art calculation expertise ensures the hull is perfectly optimized in terms of seakeeping and propulsion efficiency.

Furthermore, all ship operation systems will be constantly measured and monitored during the design phase to keep the energy requirements as low as possible.

Although no estimated delivery time was given in the initial statement to the media, The Superyacht Agency has provisionally slated it for a 2026 delivery, wrote superyachtnews.com. This estimated delivery was formed using an aggregation of historic delivery times for comparable luxury vessels. Fleet data is one of the foundational pillars of The Superyacht Agency’s intelligence, analysis and consultancy offerings.

Nobiskrug can be seen at Monaco Yacht Show 2022 with PROJECT LYCKA (77m). The hybrid superyacht is designed in collaboration with @denisonyachting and @tillbergdesignofsweden and has a cozy interior with seven cabins, including an owner’s suite + dedicated beach club & spa, gym, private office, central elevator, and more.
