Saint Laurent launches vermeil jewelry collection
Hedi Slimane, Saint Laurent new creative director, plays on the chromatic contrast between gold and silver in the new vermeil jewelry collection launched by the the fashion house. Just like the Saint Laurent Menswear campaign images modelled by Saskia de Brauw, the unisex jewelry collection is expertly hand-crafted in Thailand using renowned artisanal techniques.
The line composed of sterling silver covered with 18K gold will be available in stores starting from January. Pre-order are possible on-line at ysl.com.
The campaign images feature former Girls singer Christopher Owens and were shot by Heidi Slimane himself. The musician is a friend and muse of Slimane.
