Louis Vuitton Dover Street Market Ginza Celebration

Louis Vuitton commissioned international graffiti artists Aiko, Retna, and Os Gemeos to create the new Louis Vuitton Textile Collection presented for Louis Vuitton Dover Street Market Ginza Celebration. The space also features an photo exhibit from Olivier Zahm of French fashion, art and culture Magazine Purple, capturing Japanese actress Shirori Kutsuna wearing Louis Vuitton Textiles.

Louis Vuitton has had many collaborations with prominent artists and designers. Takashi Murakami created special edition collections, such as the Monogramouflage Collection, which debuted in 2008, and a previous collection, released in 2002, which featured some of his artwork.  Most recently, Creative Director Marc Jacobs teamed up with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, to create the “Infitinetly Kusama” Collection, which features bold colors of dots over the vernis leather or the monogram canvas.
