Bentley uber-luxury SUV could be on the road within three years

Bentley super-luxury SUV confirmed
Luxury Brit brand Bentley has confirmed it will offer a new uber-luxury SUV model that could be offered with both V12 and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

A uber luxury SUV built to Bentley standards would change the way buyers think about soft-roaders. Having a hybrid version of the SUV would be “helpful”, stating that Bentley would skip the first hybrid generation and immediately go into plug-in hybrids.

Although CEO Wolfgang Durheimer didn’t reveal any timing for the new SUV he hinted it could be on the road within three years.

He also admitted that the company could develop a convertible version of its Mulsanne sedan and a high-performance variant.
