LVMH Maisons continue to share their artistic vision through unparalleled savoir-faire and exceptional collaborations. Fendi Baguette ‘Hand in Hand’ and Tiffany & Co. Makers join forces, creating a one-of-a-kind Baguette Bag handcrafted entirely in sterling silver.

During New York Fashion Week last September, Fendi presented a special runway show to fete the 25th anniversary of the Baguette bag. Created in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi, this iconic bag became a cultural phenomenon and revolutionized the fashion industry. Named after its attitude and worn under the arm like a baguette loaf, the Baguette immediately became a cultural phenomenon that revolutionized the fashion industry by defining an archetype of style. Fusing together the most signficant design codes of the two Houses, a new icon is born: the Tiffany Baguette.

Now Fendi has teamed with jeweler Tiffany & Co. to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of craftsmanship in sterling silver.

This creation is exceptional at multiple levels. To begin with, it is part of Fendi’s ambitious ‘hand in hand’ initiative to celebrate local artisans whose expert craft transforms the Baguette into a full-fledged objet d’art. What’s more, this collaboration is the first ‘hand in hand’ partnership outside Italy, as Fendi teams with a house that boasts its own rich tradition of sublime craftsmanship and shares a commitment to exquisite savoir-faire.

Weighing 5.2 pounds (2,356 grams), the unique piece is engraved with a floral pattern of lilies – the national flower of Italy – and roses, the emblematic blossom of New York State. Made using a traditional silversmithing technique called ‘chasing’, the silver masterpiece is an homage both to Fendi’s iconic bag and to Tiffany & Co.’s heritage of exquisite craftsmanship. Created by skilled ‘Makers’ at the American jeweler’s workshop, the bag took some 250 hours to craft over four months.

This one-of-a-kind jewelry creation is joined by a dedicated capsule collection of Tiffany Baguette bags in leather, diamonds and silk satin, evoking another icon, the Tiffany Blue Box.

The medium Tiffany Baguette is meticulously crafted in Tiffany Blue smooth calfskin leather with sterling silver hardware. The signature FF buckle features a dual T motif in Tiffany Blue enamel finish, while a Return to Tiffany round tag nods to one of our most recognized collections. Two detachable straps offer the option to carry by hand, wear on your shoulder or crossbody.
