The curled heel and nude mesh base hint that something sinister is afoot. Malangeli, Christian Louboutin’s Maleficent-inspired heels are a pair of shoes inspired by the Mistress of All Evil herself, Disney’s Maleficent – or at least the way Angelina Jolie brought her to life on the big screen.
“It is exciting to work with someone who has such a strong aesthetic and character. Getting to know Angelina through a fun collaboration has been one of my greatest pleasures,” Louboutin told WWD. The sculpted wedge is available in red or black patent leather.
“Like any good fairy tale, this collaboration comes with a happy ending: profits from sales benefit the SOS Children’s Villages, the NGO supported by Jolie, providing stable, loving homes for orphaned and abandoned children in 133 countries,” announced Christian Louboutin house.
