The world’s largest Easter egg hunt

Faberge to hold giant Easter egg hunt in London
Fabergé is set to host a massive Easter egg hunt next year in London. One of the purpose of this ground-breaking event is to raise money for charity Action for Children, as well as for the endangered Asian elephant (Elephant Family).

The Fabergé Easter egg Hunt will feature 200 giant two-and-a-half foot fibreglass, strategically placed eggs throughout London.

Entrants have the 40 days and nights of Lent, starting on February 21 – to hunt down as many eggs as possible. The eggs are decorated by some of the world’s leading artists, architects, jewellers and designers, including Vivienne Westwood, Diane Von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Zandra Rhodes, Sophie Dahl, Bompas and Parr (food experimenters) and Polly Morgan (taxidermist). The eggs have all the chances to become “highly collectible works of art”

“The jewel in the crown of this auction will be an exclusively designed, one of a kind jewelled egg pendant by headline sponsor Fabergé, in collaboration with Nicky Haslam,” said the the officials from Fabergé.
