The emerging Azerbaijan opens first Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers

Described as one of the most audacious buildings of modern times, the Flame Towers’ three columns are an apt symbol for the emerging Azerbaijan. The Flame Towers are an award-winning, new development, now the tallest building complex in the country, now hosting “Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers”, the luxury hospitality brand’s first development in Azerbaijan.

The new 36-floor property, opening initially with 140 rooms and suites, will feature 318 spacious well-appointed guestrooms, suites and apartments, all with spectacular views of the city of Baku, the old Inner City or the Caspian Sea. Working seamlessly with the design of the building, interior designer HBA International has created crisp, modern interiors.

The neutral palette is accented by bursts of color progressing up the tower culminating with the Royal Suite, featuring rich, deep burgundy tones and finishes. Custom pieces, such as a six meter (20 foot) glass chandelier formed in the shape of water droplets, catch the eye in the 17 meter (56 foot) lobby area. A world-class, contemporary art collection, commissioned and collated by Farmboy Fine Arts, further complements the building’s innovative design.

The hotel will boast the very best in local dining and entertainment, with several restaurants, bars and lounges including an authentic French patisserie and a specialty steak-house. In addition, the 57 Fairmont Gold guestrooms and dedicated Fairmont Gold Lounge are equipped to serve the most discerning of travelers whilst a state-of-the-art health club and luxurious ESPA spa facility opening late summer and including indoor and outdoor pools, will help keep business and leisure travelers alike in peak condition.
