Poltrona Frau’s first showroom in Cologne

Poltrona Frau opens its first showroom in Cologne

A month after opening its Munich store, Italian luxury furniture maker Poltrona Frau, known as designing modern chairs and luxury car interiors using leather on most of their products, opened its first showroom in Cologne during Orgatec, the leading international trade fair for modern working environments. Poltrona Frau’s new showroom at 6/10 Spichernstraße has a new concept for management office environments and meeting rooms where sobriety, functionality and flexibility are the dominant themes.

Distinctive features of the Poltrona Frau showrooms across the globe are present in the Cologne space: neutral shades of magnolia, a large musk wall, minimalist graphic elements for the furniture, narrow windows looking out onto the street, and little paintings that describe the collection of chairs for the office and the home.

The showroom offers two high-level meetings areas where pure materials like wood, leather and slate or travertine met. In one you will find the new interpretations of the H_O desk designed by Claudio Silvestrin. In the other the new CEO Cube meeting-room table where the head of the table is marked by a leather panel of a different colour. In addition, there is an informal meeting area with a low CEO Cube round table.

In September, Poltrona Frau Group announced the opening of a new showroom in Munich (Germany). The space, about 1.000 square metres, opens huge windows on the main street and shows the three premium brand products in an open space furnished with real solutions as private ambiences.

In October, Poltrona Frau inaugurated its first flagship store in Belgium in the heart of the luxury shopping in Brussels, at 35 Place du Grand Sablon.
