Club Dauphin has reopened with new breezy Mediterranean look and revised poolside menu with lunchtime dishes that make the most of the Riviera’s seasonal produce.

Celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful swimming pools, the Club Dauphin pool has been a signature symbol of the Hotel since 1939.

Club Dauphin, the stylish beach club of Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, has reopened following five months of extensive renovations. Club Dauphin is immersed in the lush landscape of the Cap Ferrat peninsula. During its lifetime, the Club has welcomed a string of celebrity guests including Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin and Elizabeth Taylor.

The Club’s famous 33 metre (108 foot) heated swimming pool has been tiled with Italian verrazzo stone to create a natural rugged look that seamlessly blends in with the surrounding landscape, while the Club’s cabanas have been entirely renovated to offer guests total relaxation and complete privacy.

Cabanas are available for Hotel and external guests and can be rented out on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal basis.

“We wanted to keep the soul and spirit of our previous cabanas,” explains General Manager François-Régis Simon. “Our clients were attached to the Club’s iconic cabanas so we decided to maintain their simple design while increasing their comfort level and adding facilities to enhance guests’ overall experience.”

Designed by renowned interior architect and designer Martin Brudnizki, the 19 stylish cabanas are dotted around the
Club’s lush grounds. Each cabana is equipped with sunbeds, mini bar with bespoke drinks cabinet, integrated safe, power sockets and USB ports. Tailor-made furnishings in soft earthy tones blend in with the surrounding landscape, with upholstered teal chairs recalling the warm blues of the Mediterranean, and teakwood furniture echoing Cap Ferrat’s wild rocky scrubland.

The cabanas come in three different sizes, accommodating two, four or six people.

All offer wonderful sea views, with some also looking out onto the Club’s pool area. A gate within the Club grounds offers access to the coastal pathway, allowing guests to explore the area while taking in some of the most beautiful panoramas in the south of France.

Guests can make the most of Club Dauphin’s facilities, including its heated seawater infinity pool overlooking the
Mediterranean and its renowned restaurant with menus overseen by Michelin-starred Chef Yoric Tièche. Chef Vincent Ghiglione prepares international and Mediterranean dishes with Japanese and South American influences.

The light and refreshing options include sushi and marinated fish crudos, lobster rolls and grilled lamb pittas. An extensive beverage list completes the offer, with homemade smoothies and freshly-squeezed juices alongside creative cocktails prepared with aromatic herbs freshly picked from the Hotel garden.

Each cabana is equipped with a paging system so that guests can enjoy meals in privacy and comfort, calling for service and alerting waiters when required.

Guests booking the exclusive Dauphin Lounge have their own private bar where a designated mixologist shakes up
bespoke drinks. A butler is also on hand to meet guests’ needs and requirements. The Cabana is equipped with a dining table to allow guests to enjoy a convivial sit-down meal with family or close friends.

The Club can be hired for private cocktail receptions, intimate family meals or romantic dinners, with live food stations and drinks crafted by an expert team of mixologists. For the ultimate dining experience, couples can book a table in one of the Club’s most exclusive cabanas, where they can enjoy a gourmet dinner in complete privacy facing the sea. Located at the tip of Cap Ferrat, the Cabana has one of the most romantic settings of the entire coastline. Flower arrangements and candles add to the ambience, and menus are customised by celebrated Chef Yoric Tièche.
