Waiting to take center stage at the Salone del Mobile Milano 2021, Italian high-end furniture group Jumbo Collection unveiled an absolute preview of its new living room – The French Living – characterized by a classic decorative style that recalls the elegance and sumptuousness of the noble palaces of the Eighteenth century.
Characterized by the richness of Louis XV and Louis XVI style decorations, the elegant furnishings protagonists of the living room represent a tribute to the French style of the 1600s and 1700s, updated and reinterpreted according to an eclectic and dynamic approach. A delicate and light color palette, where neutral tones of powder pink prevail, balances the richness of the shapes.
“An emblematic setting with a timeless charm expresses the evolution of Jumbo Collection style, from a phase focused on the prevalence of essential lines to a new era that marks the return to the most authentic heritage of the brand,” said Jumbo Collection in a statement.
Gold details and finishes add an ethereal and luminous note to the whole.
At the center of the space the Grand Armé corner sofa stands out, characterized by the timeless charm of the capitonné manufacturing in powder pink velvet embellished with decorative fringes. The same colors are found in the Tulipe armchair, whose shape with low back and wide armrests, suspended on a handcarved wooden base with gold leaf finish, evokes the profile of a blooming flower.
The living area is enriched with precious furnishing accessories with a French taste, such as table and console of the Lumière line, whose top in maple wood with geometric ray-of-sunshine inlays is supported by a structure based on the repetition of slender columns with casted brass details.
The déco spirit of the setting is expressed in the naturalistic inspiration of the Pineapple coffee table, hand-carved to obtain the typical scaly effect of the pineapple peel, while the Boulevard coffee table, hand-carved as well, reveals a luxurious and refined soul without resulting too opulent, in perfect Jumbo Collection style.
Since 1985, founding of Jumbo Collection brand dedicated to the creation of precious classic style furnishings, Jumbo Group has expanded over time by adding new lines, with modern and innovative shapes up to date with the latest trends.
In 2012, the license for the production of Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors line was acquired. In 2014, the license of Gianfranco Ferré Home joined the Group: the brand inherits the style of the fashion house in a perfect combination of contemporary elements, metropolitan charm and vintage references. JCP Universe, Jumbo Group’s experimental brand, was born in March 2016, giving life to a collection that blurs the lines between art and design. In September 2017, the Group expanded further with the ETRO Home Interiors line, in which furnishings with exotic allure, inspired by the theme of travel and faraway cultures come to life thanks to iconic fabrics and evocative materials.
