Writing the history of light: Baccarat Highlights 2013

Brightness, incandescence and sparkle take Baccarat to new heights.

Baccarat revealed the new lighting and home collections with a special exhibition celebrating the French Art de Vivre at the Palazzo Morando during Milan Design Week 2013.

From the Eiffel Tower at dawn to the sun setting over the Paris Opera, “Baccarat Highlights 2013” exhibition showcases the magic and influence of crystal. The City of Light serves as the perfect backdrop, allowing each exhibit, whether indoors or out, in one of the many gardens, to show off its hypnotic charms.

Some of the world’s most talented designers have created the 16 pieces of Baccarat’s new collection, such as Fernando & Humberto Campana, Louise Campbell, Jean-Marc Gady, Jaime Hayon, Arik Levy, Philippe Nigro and Philippe Starck, and they were joined by students of the Lausanne art school, ECAL. The collection takes the boundaries of light into a magical new realm.
