Steve Jobs’ envisioned yacht Venus unveiled

Steve Jobs’ yacht Venus unveiled in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands

Philippe Starck’s yacht for Steve Jobs was christened ‘Venus’ in the Netherlands’ Aalsmeer shipyard. The boat completion in the Dutch waters was made in the presence of Steve Jobs’ widow Laurene three of their children.

According to Dutch website OneMoreThing, Steve Jobs’ yacht measures between 70 and 80 meters and was inspired by Apple’s flagship products. Venus, which took more than 6 years to build, houses seven 27-inch iMacs in the control center.

French designer Philippe Starck worked closely with Steve Jobes for more than 7 years but Steve Jobs died too soon to witness the luxury yacht completion. Starck envisioned a floating apartment, completed with sun deck and a hot tub.
