Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography proposes a journey through the history of fashion, from the Fifties to today

The luxury house finally launched a book which includes all Louis Vuitton advertising campaigns, archive images dating back to the 1950s. and emblematic fashion articles since 1997.  The 200 images propose a journey through the history of fashion, from the Fifties to today.

The limited-edition book titled “Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography” (published by Rizolli New York) features a white canvas cover with one of three different photographs on the cover, by Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean or Bert Stern. This elegant object is a perfect addition to the series of City Guides, Travel Books and works by individual artists published for more than 15 years by Louis Vuitton.

Included are photographs by major figures such as Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, all of whom have excelled at conveying the spirit of Louis Vuitton.
