Hermès Petit h turns iconic designs into one-off objects

‘Petit H’,  Hermès’ creative laboratory for unique and unexpected pieces, has unveiled a new video directed by Mary Clerté & Edouard Bertrand and animation signed by Victor Haegelin.

Hermès video sees famous Kelly bag become clock and offers an image of luxury upcycling when leftover materials are transformed into unique products including accessories and home decorations.

If Hermes Petit “h” had to be summed up in a single word, it would be re-creation. A creative workshop that brings together materials, artists, and craftsmen in a single space, faithful to the exacting standards that characterise Hermes. Petit “h”, a not to the capital H of Hermes, is a little letter that fosters a world of possibility, the invention and creation of all sorts of objects. Each one different, functional, unpredictable, unexpected … poetic, quirky and free. Its goal: to make you dream, spark your imagination, stir up a little magic.

Petit h creations are shown together during events, in a travelling selling exhibition that reflects their ephemeral and nomadic sprit. From 24 April to 12 May 2012, at the Hermes Kurfurstendamm Store, Berlin.
