Louis Vuitton’s 2015 Spring. The new Spirit of Travel
Precious trunks, unique luggage and celebrated bags ring in tune with Caribbean nature in a new video definition of LV’s Spirit of Travel. Louis Vuitton’s modern voyager is always looking forward, “sailing towards the horizon, searching for adventures on a drifting pier.”
Following last year’s safari through the African savannah, Louis Vuitton & French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier set the famous trunks halfway between the sky and the sea under the beating sun. Top models Maartje Verhoef, Julia Nobis, and Liya Kebede in colorful designs along with all of Louis Vuitton’s leather goods present, according to LV’s Twitter account, “an odyssey through the terrains of fashion.”
“There is a mountain. I climbed it. There is a crossing. I took the open road. I felt the wind, the water, infinite sand, pure sky. I could see it all. The world,” says the new 2015 Spirit of Travel film from Louis Vuitton.
