Yellow gold remains the undisputed star. OroArezzo 2014

2015 gold and jewelry trends as seen at the OroArezzo 2014 trade fair.

At this year’s OROAREZZO, the international trade show for gold, silver and precious stone jewellery taking place in in Tuscany (Italy), gold changed its look and is enriched with new ideas and new creative trends.

The 2014 edition of the International Jewelry Exhibition, one of the most important International events dedicated to gold and silver jewellery, has registered over twelve thousand operators (+8.5% compared to 2013). The 500 exhibiting companies have unveiled new jewelry trends for the
coming months.

Buyers came from 82 foreign countries and met Italian manufacturers of a wide range of products: plain gold and silver, diamonds, costume jewellery, semi-precious and precious stones, fashion accessories and production machinery.

Balance, harmony in the shapes, and a constant search for innovative materials and sophisticated techniques: these are the ingredients offered by a show in which the protagonists are always more imagination and creativity, real added value of the tradition of the Italian “know-how”.

At the Arezzo Show there have been proposed jewels with refined lines, precious objects that are synonymous with luxury but are also contemporary, that reinterpret the past in a modern way, that move from tradition, from the classics, but evolves into new geometric shapes. Cleaner lines, less excessive jewelry that can be worn every day, giving a message of simplicity and often inspired by art and architecture, the artistic and cultural movements.

The exhibiting companies presented collections with timeless charm, such as crosses, rings, bracelets. In particular, in the context of the contest Premiere 2015, whose theme in this edition was the ring, there were seen examples of jewelry featuring light texture, with maxi size and stylistic references to Art Nouveau, Futurism, the roundness of the ’50s and the Op-Art.

To twinkle in the stands was also the costume jewelry of the future, within the space “Bi-Jewel“, which was marked by the amazing expression of creativity and experimentation, where it is most obvious link with the world of fashion. In this context, there have been involved the most trendy and quality jewelry, always the most glamorous creations, characterized by lots of colors, especially neon colors.

The next engagement for Arezzo Fiere e Congressi is “Gold in Italy”, 25 to 27 October, 2014, where it will be on stage the excellence of jewelry made in Italy.
