Monaco Yacht Show 2017 to unveil a new exhibition space dedicated to the superyacht lifestyle

Each year, the MYS (27-30 September, Port Hercules, Monaco) curates the exhibition of 125 extraordinary one-off superyachts built by the world’s most respected shipyards and welcomes 580 leading companies from the yachting industry.

In September, the yachting industry turns its focus exclusively to the MYS where 45 new launches are annually unveiled in a worldwide debut.

Firmly oriented towards the superyacht end clientele, the Monaco Yacht Show has completely reset the Quai Antoine Ier area to unveil a new exhibition space dedicated to the superyacht lifestyle. The 34,000 attendees expected this year will extend their visit in this completely transformed area that will present four exhibitions: The new Starboard lounge-exhibition, the Car Deck (prestige car exhibition), the Tenders & Toys, the Holland Pavilion.

The 7th edition of the renowned biennial charity-auction Only Watch begins its ten-leg world tour at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show. From 27 to 30 September inside the Monaco Yacht Show, the Show’s clientele and private collectors will discover the one-off models of timepieces especially created by the finest watchmakers for Only Watch 2017.The collection of the 50 lots will be exhibited in ten of the world’s capitals of high horology before the sales auction, on November 11, Geneva.

Monaco Yacht Show 2017 – The Starboard

The Starboard will present a selection of exhibitors, specialising into superyacht destination, luxury products and arts. The new area will also propose the second official Monaco Yacht Show restaurant- lounge. Indoors or on the terrace visitors and exhibitors can enjoy the snacks and cold dishes, then come back again after 4.30 pm for the Happy Hour with live piano-bar music. The Starboard will also house the Show’s official Press centre (access restricted to accredited journalists) and Business centre with private meeting rooms (available only for exhibitors’ business meetings). A selection of yachting and lifestyle magazines will be freely available and Wifi will be available all alongside Quai Antoine Ier.

The Car Deck

Launched at last year’s MYS, the Car Deck will be set alongside the Starboard and present fifteen or so prestige vehicles, with some available for test drives by the Show’s premium clients.

The finest and cutting-edge models of prestige brands will be displayed: Aston Martin, Automobili Lamborghini, Bentley, Elemental Cars, Hoffmann & Novague, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Shelby by Gentleman Car.

The Tenders & Toys

Visitors to the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show will discover a brand-new exhibition area devoted entirely to the trendiest luxury tenders and water toys on the market. The Tenders & Toys will display fifteen or so tenders on two sites, one on the quay (in the extension of the Dutch HISWA pavilion) and the other on the water(opposite the Car Deck and the Starboard). Yacht owners, skippers and future clients will be able to choose their tenders from among the variety of products on view.

The Holland Pavilion

HISWA, one of the longest-standing exhibiting federations at the Monaco Yacht Show, will again raise theflag of the Dutch superyachting industry with their Holland Pavilion. Eight exhibiting companies will presenttheir best know-how, expertise and high-end nautical products.

The reconfiguration of the Quai Antoine Ier exhibition area will create a new epicentre for the activities of the Monaco Yacht Show and will stand as a new milestone in the development of the Monaco Yacht Show since 1991.

Monaco Yacht Summit

This September 26, the Monaco Yacht Summit welcomes new potential superyacht clients – or their reps –to discuss the current issues about first-time charter or purchase of luxury yachts.

For the 2017 Monaco Yacht Summit, a team of 11 experts has been selected to share their personalexperience and unbiased insights on five topics:
