According to the American Cancer Society, more than 200,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer (Stages I-IV) are diagnosed among women in the United States in a year, resulting in approximately 40,000 deaths.

For the fourth consecutive year, Macy’s has joined forces with the Pink Pony Fund, Ralph Lauren Corporation’s worldwide initiative in the fight against cancer. This year, the Pink Pony Campaign launched for the first time a limited-edition Pink Pony Bracelet sold exclusively at Macy’s. The bracelet is made of pink adjustable cord, decorated with a pink enameled iconic polo player charm and engraved with Ralph Lauren script on the back.

Also new to the campaign this year is the Pink Pony limited-edition fragrance, “Ralph Lauren Tender Romance,” of which 15 percent of the purchase price will be donated to the Pink Pony Fund of The Ralph Lauren Foundation.

Throughout October, The Polo Bar, Ralph Lauren Restaurant and RalphsParis will donate 100% of sales of the signature Pink Pony cocktail to the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Fund for Cancer Care and Prevention.

And finally, a special collection of t-shirts and active wear transformed Polo Ralph Lauren shops into Pink Pony destinations. Twenty-five percent of the purchase price of all other Pink Pony products sold in the United States will benefit the Pink Pony Fund of The Ralph Lauren Foundation for causes devoted to cancer awareness, education and research. Since its launch in 2013, this exclusive partnership has raised more than $5.5 million for the cause.

“Macy’s long-standing commitment to the breast cancer awareness movement is incredibly inspiring,” states Holly Thomas, Macy’s group vice president of cause marketing. “Our ongoing dedication to charitable causes makes an even greater impact with the support of our employees and our terrific partners, such as Ralph Lauren, who join forces toward a common goal. And, of course, we are so grateful to our customers who continue to show their generosity by shopping at our stores and in our dedicated online ‘Pink Shop’ in a quest to raise awareness and
champion the fight against breast cancer.”

Macy’s online Pink Shop at macys.com/pink will also offer a specially-curated collection of incredible fashion and home brands including Coach, Carolee, Charter Club, Guess, Ideology, KitchenAid, Material Girl Active, Movado, Sunglass Hut, Thalia Sodi and Under Armour, with each donating a portion of the sale of special pink merchandise to various organizations such as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). And this year, Macy’s Ideology brand is pleased to have made a $100,000 donation to BCRF and to have created a special collection of active wear that promotes breast cancer awareness. From hoodies and tank tops to graphic-tees, sweatshirts and leggings, these special items spark inspiration to “Fight Like a Girl” and look good while doing it.

Because big things really do come in small packages, the stoe joined the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) through the sale of the BCRF Beauty Sampler.

2016 ‘Breast Cancer One’ Survivor Flight is Carrying us Closer to a Cure

Currently in flight: Breast Cancer One, where 100+ of the Delta family’s survivors and fighters come together for a cure. Delta’s 12th Annual ‘Breast Cancer One’ Survivor Flight Took Hope to New Heights.

Delta’s 12th Annual ‘Breast Cancer One’ Survivor Flight kicked off the airline’s month-long campaign to generate awareness and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Delta’s iconic pink plane carried more than 140 employee breast cancer survivors on the flight’s first transcontinental route from New York City to Los Angeles.

A dinner event celebrated the survivors, discussed cancer research milestones and included special guests Wanda Sykes and co-founders of BCRF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund Rita Wilson, Jamie Tisch, Kelly Meyer Quinn Ezralow and Marion Laurie. The dinner also included a meet-and-greet with Dr. Sofia Merajver, one of BCRF’s world-renowned researchers.

“The work we do with BCRF each year has one goal – eradicating breast cancer. This partnership stems from our commitment to not only support each other, but also the communities where we live, work and serve each day,” said Allison Ausband, Delta’s Senior Vice President – In-Flight Service. “With the help of our employees, customers and community partners we will continue to work together to create a better tomorrow.”

For the third year in a row, Delta customers also joined the flight. Delta recently held a SkyMiles Experiences online auction, where three customers donated a total of 205,001 miles, which will go directly toward BCRF and its efforts. The three customers, each with a guest of their choice, were also part of the charity flight.

“As a global leader, Delta’s commitment has been instrumental in advancing BCRF’s mission to be the end of breast cancer,” said Myra Biblowit, President of BCRF. “Delta’s dedication is deeply personal—underscored by the passion of their employees and customers. In joining forces with the highest rated breast cancer organization in the country and the largest private funder of research in the world, we are confident that,
together, we will consign breast cancer to the history books.”

Delta employees, customers and their friends and families have raised $11 million for BCRF since 2005, including last year’s efforts of $1.75 million. The collective contributions have funded the vital work of 44 different research projects over the years in the pursuit of eradicating breast cancer.

To further raise awareness and support for breast cancer research, Delta employees will wear pink uniforms and sell pink products, including pink lemonade and pink headsets, on board and in Delta Sky Clubs throughout the month of October. Additional information, including how to donate, is available on delta.com/bcrf.

“Research is revolutionizing our understanding of cancer, leading us to the core of this insidious disease and transforming lives every day as women and men get the help they need.”

Ending Breast Cancer Begins With You. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, American designer David Yurman announced the creation of “Support a Cure,” a specially curated shop that will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the highest-rated breast cancer organization in the United States. This represents not only the seventh year the brand has supported the fight against breast cancer, but also the first time they have created an exclusive shopping experience for the organization. David Yurman will donate to BCRF 10% of the purchase price of these items.

“Support a Cure” will include a variety of pieces from the Starburst and Petite Pave collections, highlighting the Petite Pave “Love” ID bracelet in sterling silver with pink sapphires. This unique design, inscribed with “love” written in David Yurman’s own hand, gives the piece a personalized and original style.
