The enigmatic gaze of Isabelle Adjani can be seen through large square sunglasses in black acetate with the name CHANEL running along one of the temples. Margaret Qualley appears beneath a butterfly frame in black metal, linked with a string of white pearls. The oversized rectangular design in black acetate worn by Pharrell Williams is embellished with fine metal plaques engraved with a motif that evokes a woven tweed. Angèle wears an oval design with a contrasting frame to which a necklace of grey faux pearls is attached. An XL rectangular shield worn by French musician, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sébastien Tellier honours the tweed that swathes its frame. The double C takes shape as a patch and signs the temples.

Made in Italy, the sunglasses feature 100% UVA and UVB Protection CE . The Lenses are UV Category Filter 3 – Polarized.

Margaret Qualley also selected some of her favourite tracks in a new playlist for CHANEL on Apple Music.

Jacob & Co is Capturing the Famous Bugatti W16 engine in a timepiece

A watch that any Bugatti Chiron owner should add to their collection.

@Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron 16 Cylinder Tourbillon

The Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron 16 Cylinder Tourbillon recreates the famous Bugatti W16 engine in a watch.

Ever since the first automobiles competed for the fastest laps and times, watches and cars have been inexorably linked. Car aficionados love watches, reveling in the mechanical precision, beauty, and performance of both. But watches could never capture the feel, energy, and power of a high-performance car engine.⠀

Everything in the new $280,000 Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron 16 Cylinder Tourbillon is designed to honor the Bugatti Chiron in a timepiece. The case is inspired by the flowing lines of the Chiron and the movement, or “engine block,” intended to duplicate the Bugatti engine, is placed under a massive sapphire crystal, on display for all to see. Visible from the top and through the Bugatti horseshoe grill, the animation and the inclined tourbillon are perfectly positioned to share this amazing movement with your friends.

@Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron 16 Cylinder Tourbillon

Push the right-hand crown of the incredible Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon and the engine comes to life – the crankshaft turns and the 16 pistons pump up and down, just like a true internal combustion engine. Two “turbochargers” on the side of the engine block spin while the engine runs, adding to the visual impact.

The crankshaft driving the engine animation is one of the smallest and most complicated watch parts ever manufactured, made out of one solid steel piece. The pistons, challenging to fabricate in their own right, are mounted onto the crankshaft at varying angles to maximize the show. Seeing them in action is simultaneously hard to believe and breathtaking.

Incredible to see and unbelievably complicated to realize (the movement is comprised of 578 components), the Jacob & Co Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon timepiece has done something no one has ever even attempted before – seamlessly marrying engines and watches.
