Germany’s Hockenheimring in Hockenheim (a town in northwest Baden-Württemberg, Germany, about 20 km south of Mannheim and 10 km west of Walldorf) witnessed an extraordinary celebration as almost 80,000 tickets were sold out for Porsche‘s Festival of Dreams, marking the 75th anniversary of Porsche. The event offered an extensive program that catered to the excitement of all visitors, both on and off the racetrack. Additionally, over 8,000 Porsche customer cars were displayed around the Porsche Experience Center, creating a remarkable sight for enthusiasts.

Under perfect weather conditions, customers and fans gathered at the Hockenheimring over the weekend to commemorate 75 years of Porsche sports cars. The Festival of Dreams featured three prominent motorsport events: the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, and the ADAC GT Masters. Moreover, the event saw the successful debut of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Classic, adding to the thrill and excitement.

While the racetrack events provided exhilarating experiences, visitors also had the opportunity to explore the diverse themed areas of the extensive Porsche world.

At the Porsche Experience Center’s handling course, nearly 7,500 “taxi” rides were enjoyed as professional drivers took customers and fans for thrilling passenger rides in various Porsche models, including the all-electric Taycan.

In addition to the on-track activities, the Festival of Dreams showcased more than 8,000 customer cars from different Porsche model series and generations. These impressive vehicles were displayed alongside 100 exhibitors, including the renowned Porsche Museum and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.

Well-known personalities like German model Toni Garrn, photographer Paul Ripke, and fashion and lifestyle influencer Karo Kauer shared their personal dreams and ways to achieve them. The festival was hosted by TV presenters Steven Gätjen and Chris Brow, who ensured an engaging and entertaining atmosphere. A special highlight of the weekend was a concert by Alvaro Soler on Saturday evening.

Alexander Pollich, CEO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, emphasized the emotional and passionate nature of the Porsche brand. He expressed his satisfaction with the birthday weekend, stating, “We were able to feel all of this at the weekend in Hockenheim together with many friends of the brand. We are very happy with this birthday weekend.”

The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 4,500 accredited Porsche Club members each day.

A dedicated “clubhouse” was specifically designed to accommodate this unique community, and it welcomed members from various nations, including Japan, South Africa, Australia, and Venezuela, in addition to numerous guests from Germany. The adjacent Community Space, designed as an urban container landscape, represented Porsche communities such as Onassis, HEIZR, Petro Surf, Type7, FAT, and Curves. The Saturday night festivities continued late into the night with DJ beats and refreshing drinks, ensuring a vibrant and memorable experience for all attendees.
