World’s best restaurant comes to London. A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s

Chef René Redzepi is exporting his acclaimed restaurant Noma to London

Luxury hotel Claridge’s, the iconic London establishment, recruited chef René Redzepi to open a temporary outpost of his famous Noma restaurant, called the best restaurant in the world. Noma has topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for two years running (2010 and 2011) and chef Redzepi was also named one of Time magazine 100 Most Influential People in the World this month. Redzepi has sparked a cultural revolution with his focus on foraging and the reinterpretation of Nordic cuisine

For ten days this summer, René Redzepi will be creating a five course menu at Claridge’s which will reflect his signature flavours and dishes from Noma, using local, seasonal British ingredients.

A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s” will be available for both lunch and dinner in Claridge’s Ballroom from 28th July to 6th August 2012, where René Redzepi will be in attendance every day, together with his team of chefs from Noma. The five course menu is priced at £195 per person.

Tickets will go on general sale from Wednesday 9th May but you can benefit from advance reservation access by registering your interest in on the claridges website. Last fall, Thomas Keller recreated his Napa Valley restaurant The French Laundry at Harrods luxury store for 10 days.
