Stuart Hughes creates world’s most expensive iPhone 5

Although the interior hardware components remain unchanged, world’s most expensive iPhone 5 gained its title for being solid-gold bodied and diamond-encrusted.

British luxury designer Stuart Hughes was commissioned by an unnamed Chinese businessman to create a £10 million ($ 15 million) phone that will be used as a day- to-day handset. The luxury gadget with solid gold chassis was called Black Diamond because it features a 24-ct black diamond.

The phone features 600 white diamonds set in gold on the back panel and a 3D Apple logo in solid gold decorared with 53 diamonds. To create a stronger display, the usual Gorilla glass was changed with Sapphire glass, which is used to create body armor and
is suprassed in resistance only by a diamond.
