Paul Smith brings his love for the eccentric to John Lobb

Paul Smith unveiled on the Paris catwalk at his Spring Summer 2013 show a new collaboration with luxury bootmaker John Lobb. Three iconic John Lobb styles (an oxford, derby, and a loafer), selected for both their heritage and contemporary appeal, have been reinterpreted with humour and an addition of colour.

The new collection will be available worldwide from John Lobb stores and selected Paul Smith shops from September 1st 2012.

Founded in 1849, Lobb is one of England’s oldest makers of bench-made shoes. A pair of original Lobb’s handmade to measure shoes are a work of art, unique to their owner. They are created by the close teamwork of a number of specialized craftsmen, all of whom have served long apprenticeships to acquire their particular skills. Handmade from the finest quality full grain leathers, the shoes combine heritage, tradition and modernity with distinction and elegance.
