Hotel O Paris, Ora-Ïto’s first hotel project

French designer Ora-Ïto, the son of famed jewelry designer Pascal Morabito (read our exclusive interview with Morabito’s creator here ), opened the doors of its first ultra design and futuristic hotel, part of a new hospitality chain named “O” (Elegancia group). The 28 capsule rooms hotel O is located in the heart of the Halles district in Paris, only a short walk away from the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens.

This is the first foray into the hotel business for the young designer who worked with Louis Vuitton, Apple, Nike or Heineken products and seduces the biggest design houses like Artemide, B & B and Cappellini.

“A hotel is a complete living space. Addressing this new challenge is the culmination of everything I’ve done so far,” said Ora-Ïto, adding that each room is meant to be a peaceful haven, generator of sensations. “Genuine contemporary and harmonious nest, this room be comes your own cocoon, the ideal place to relax”.

The bed is the centerpiece around which everything revolves: the buttons lights, the remote controls, the USB inputs for the iPhone or iPad and even the bathroom, separated from the bed by a simple glass panel.

“Genuine contemporary and harmonious nest, The O-cocoon room becomes your own cocoon, the ideal place to relax,” says the designer about the rooms fitted out in a unique color and featuring smart appliances.

The futuristic atmosphere extends to bar: “The perfect chemistry to a cosmopolitan ambiance, where glamour and poise walk side by side to create the most mesmerizing Parisian evening,” adds Ora-Ïto.
