Hemisphere – the largest sailing catamaran in the world

Hemisphere, the largest sailing catamaran in the world could be seen in Monaco. You can rent this marine monster for the stylish amount of 187 000 euros per week. This water giant was built over three years, has 44 meters in length and weighs over 275 tonnes.

“The level of finishing and luxury of Hemisphere brings her to the category of a superyacht,” says chief naval architect Marc Van Peteghem.

Code named Project Gemini during production, Hemisphere was designed by naval architects Van Peteghem Lauriot Prévost and built by Derecktor Shipyards, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Interior designs were completed by Michael Leach and, as such, are packed with luxurious fabrics and sumptuous textures.

Hemisphere has six luxury cabins and a mega-cabin with a 360-degree panorama.
Moreover, the largest catamaran in the world invites its guests to a 17 sq.m. cinema hall and a lounge of 72 square meters. The total area of bridges is totaling 450 square meters.

Hemisphere catamaran is also equipped with a host of toys such as smaller speed boats, jet-skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, water scooters, diving gear and a jacuzzi on the fly bridge.

The largest sailing catamaran in the world has a draft of only 3.1 meters, meaning it can explore areas previously out of bounds for superyachts.
